Awareness related to E-waste

Image
Hello guys, today I am going to tell you something about most important topic that is E-waste or electronic waste . I am an student of engineering doing btech in electronic and communication . I love to do electronic stuffs and making new things, using new sensors and lots of more things. But when I got acknowledge with the waste produced by these electronic things, I was shocked. And I think all people should aware about these things. E-waste is the waste which can't be disposed easily by the nature. When I studied more about E-waste then I came to know more things about it. So I decide to share it with you guys and want your opinion on this topic. For those who don't know about E-waste, I want to tell them that it is waste created by electronic products or goods. The main source of E-waste is the Smart phones . It is the major cause of E-waste in the world. Currently in India, there are more than 1.1 billion mobile users. Except mobiles, there are many other things su

Power transmission in battlebot

Image
Hi guys , hope you are having nice days. Today I am going to post my next blog based on battlebot. My next topic is based on power transmission in battlebot. You all know the material which is required to make a battlebot by my previous blogs but today I am going to tell you that how to transmit power in your battlebot. Power transmission is main thing which gives power to the whole battlebot and it's weapon system. There are many ways to transfer power easily in your battlebot. I am going to describe all the possible way to transfer power. These are described as:- 1:- Gears : There are 3 main types of gears, as pictured in the next page: (a) cylindrical gears, with straight or helical teeth; (b)conical gears, which have perpendicular and convergent axes; and (c) worm gears, consisting of a worm (which is a gear in the form of a screw) that meshes with a worm gear (which is similar in appearance to a spur gear, and is also called a worm wheel), where the worm and worm

Material required to build battlebot

Image
Hi guys , today I am going to post the blog based on battlebots. My today's topic is how to select material for designing your battlebot. I know everyone wants to know that which material should be used to make the battlebot. Today I will give you all details related to the material which you can use to build your own battlebot. You had listen about many material such as aluminium, steel, titanium, etc. But these material have also very different varieties. For example steel has many variety depends on the amount of different materials in it such that carbon, etc. Some of the material which you can use to build your own battlebot are: • aluminum and magnesium alloys in general, especially the high strength ones, are a very good choice for protected structural walls, integrated structure-armor, structural top covers, bottom covers, ablative armor and internal mounts. They're also a good choice for the body of weapons that have inserts, such as spinning disks, shells, dru

Bone Conduction Headphones

Image
Hey guys, today I have came with a very interesting topic which you might have never heard about it. This topic is so interesting that when I first heard about it, I don't believe it but when I read the concept behind this idea then I believe it. It's an beautiful innovation of 18th century. Today topic is Bone Conduction Headphones . Yeah, it is a headphone which transmits sounds directly through bones not your ears. Sound is the form of vibration which travels in air and when these waves collides with our eardrum, then we listen the sound. But think that if these vibration directly hits your bone and make you listen to your favourite musics. It send the vibration straight into the top of your jaw and from there to your inner ear and brain. This idea of bone conduction first came in the mind of a 18th century composer who is completely deaf. His name is Ludwig van Beethoven . He found a way to hear the sound of piano through his jawbone by attaching a rod to his piano a

Arduino Boards

Image
Hello guys !!! I hope you all are working well. Today I am going to tell you about the Arduino boards. I hope you all have listen about it or you have used it in your projects. But today I am going to give you all details about Arduino boards at one place. I hope that you will like my blog. If you like my blog then please show me some love by liking the blog and following me for such kind of more stuffs. Now, when I first heard about Arduino boards from my senior, the first question which raises in my mind is that What is Arduino boards??   The Arduino boards is a microcontroller which is used to build control many things such that you can control the speed of motor, it's rotation and many more. You can also use it to build many projects such obstacle avoidance robot, home automation and many more. The use of Arduino is totally depends on your requirements and your skills to use it. Most Arduino boards consist of an  Atmel 8-bit AVR microcontroller (ATmega8, ATmega168,

Armor design for battlebot

Image
Hello guys, I hope you all are well. Today I am going to tell you about the armor which you need for the defence of your battlebot. Armor is used to protect your battlebots from getting damages from other battlebots. It helps to protect the internal system of the battlebot while defending your bots from others. There are basically three types of armor. I am going to define all types of armored. 1. Traditional Armor: Traditional Armor plates are usually made out of very tough and hard materials that try to absorb and transmit the impact energy without getting damaged. The high hardness of the armor plate are used to break up or flatten sharp edges from the opponent weapon while it's toughness allow the plates to withstand the blow  without breaking. Due to their high hardness, traditional armor need to be changed less often. However they transmit a lot of energy to the rest of the robot structure which can affect the robot. 2. Ablative Armor: Ablative armor plates on the

How to design a battlebot???

Image
Hello guys,I hope that everyone is well. I am also well. Currently I am busy in some project that's why I get late to upload new blog. The blog related to my secret project will also be uploaded on my blog, so stay tuned for that. Today I am going to tell you that how to design a battlebot. I hope that you have readen my previous blog. If not then I will provide its link below. Don't forget to read that blog to understand more. Now if you have chosen to design a battlebot, then the first question in your mind is that "how???". So today I am going to answer about how... Before designing battlebot, please keep these points in your mind. •Cost- It matters to everyone before designing a battlebot. Please decide the money factors which you can use it on your project. Price also matter that at which level is that competition in which you want to take part. Think about price, before start. •Sponsorship- if you can't arrange that much amount of money , then tr

Types of battlebot-3

Hello everyone, hope you all are well. Today I am going to share the last tutorial on battlebots design. I am going to give you information about some most amazing battlebots which you can't neglect. If you guys haven't seen my previous blog on this topic, then go and see my previous blog on the same topic. Link is given below 👇 Second part- https://indianmegabot.blogspot.in/2018/03/combat-bots-part-2.html?m=1  And the first part is- https://indianmegabot.blogspot.in/2018/03/combat-robots-design-1-part.html?m=1 Now the remaining battlebot are-: 1. Hammerbot -: Hammer huabots are robots with hammers or axes that hit their opponents’ top. Usually with 4 wheels, their attack is similar to the one from overhead thwackbots, however the weapon actuation is independent of the drive system. The weapon can be fired repeatedly and quickly. It is usually pneumatically powered to deliver enough speed in its course, which has only 180 degrees. The weapon system can work as a

Types of battlebot-2

Hi everyone today I am going to share some other amazing battlebots with you. Hope you had viewed my previous parts of combat bot. If not then, I will put link below. First see the previous part then this one because every part is connected with each other. In the last part , I shared the 4 types of battlebot. Today I am going to share other types of bots which left in the previous part. 1. Thwackbot :- Thwackbots are usually 2-wheeled robots, invertible, which rotate all their structure in the same place at high speeds. They usually have one or more long rods with a hammer, axe, or some piercing weapon. They use the energy of their own drive motors to power the weapon, leaving more weight for their armor. The tires need to be narrow, otherwise they will suffer large friction losses when trying to turn on a dime at high speeds. The wheels, besides being narrow, cannot be too far apart. The closer they are, the faster will be the final angular speed of the robot, however the slower

Types of battlebot-1

Hi guys , today I am going to share the first part of making combat robots. Today I will share the basic design of the combat robots which you will require to know while making it. As I had told you in my previous blog about the weight criteria of the bot which you want to build. You can check my previous blog . https ://indianmegabot.blogspot.in/2018/02/combat-bots.html?m=1 In all tutorial which I am going to post will based on 30 lbs weight bot. Now , there are many different types of bot while you can design by yourself. These are: 1- Rammers :- Rammers are ramming robots, they damage the opponent throwing themselves against them or pushing them against the borders of the arena. They usually have 4 (or more) wheel drive, wide wheels with high traction, a sturdy drive , robust armor, high resistance to impacts, and they don’t have weapons except for their passive sheilds. In general they are invertible (they can be driven upside down). They need to be capable to push at lea

COMBAT BOTS

T oday I am going to give details about the most demanding and hot topics in the world of robotics. Yes, you will sure get an idea about the topic which i am going to tell you. by the title it gives an idea about something related to robot and battles. Yes you are right if you think the same as i told here. But it is not about some big and huge robot. It is related to the small bots which can fight in arena on your command. I will also give you more idea and the platform to take part. If you guys have interest in robotics then sure you had heard something little about it. It is also known as ROBOWAR . Today there are many international organisation which held these types of competition such as battlebots and robowars. To take parts in these type of competition you should have to design a robot which is able to fight with other bots.  Now everyone is fascinated about robot whether they get inspired by watching sci-fi movies or they had a dream of making such types of b

Future of Artificial Intelligence

Image
Future of Artificial intelligence   is a cool buzzword which I think was heard by everyone. And you and I want to know what the future will be look like when AI grows on its peak. Or there will be a war type situation between humans and Artificial Intelligence. Like the Hollywood movies shows to us. There are so many questions about the  growing technology , AI. But what exactly this beautiful but dangerous artificial intelligence will bring for humans. Facebook stopped its project  after getting unusual response from its AI project. What they found was that two programs were chatting with each other in a different language, which was not understandable by humans. In this unpredictable result,  Elon Musk twitted : I’ve talked to Mark about this. His understanding of the subject is limited. Another best example I can give you of artificial intelligence is a robot developed by Hong Kong based company  Hanson Robotics , Sophia. She is a social humanoid robot. What is

About the first Robot Citizen

Image
Today I am going to share everything about the first ever robot who got its citizenship in  Saudi Arabia . This robots name is  Sophia.  Sophia  is a social  humanoid robot  developed by  Hong Kong -based company  Hanson Robotics . Sophia was activated on April 19, 2015 and  made her first public appearance at  South by Southwest Festival  (SXSW) in mid-March 2016 in Austin, Texas, United States . In October 2017, the robot became a   Saudi Arabian   citizen, the first robot to receive citizenship of any country. In November 2017, Sophia was named the   United Nations Development Programme 's first ever Innovation Champion, and the first non-human to be given any United Nations title . Sophia was created by Hanson Robotics in collaboration with AI developers, including Google’s parent company  Alphabet Inc , who built her voice recognition system, and SingularityNET, which powers her brain . Recently Sophia visited in the most famous institute of India ie. IIT Bombay. She
